Ruiz Antique Lighting was established in the early 80's by the Ruiz family. It started with a passion for collecting beautiful lighting fixtures. Buying and selling and accumulating heirloom pieces that filled up the house and just had to be displayed for all to see. From Oakland to El Cerrito and now in Alameda, our present location.

We use experience, knowledge and understanding to restore antique lighting to above it's heirloom quality. Lighting fixtures are the jewels of home. Each light forms a fond attachment to it's owner with life long memories.

At Ruiz Antique Lighting, we recognize that your light is one of your most valued possessions. A lamp in good working order is one that will last for a very long time and will bring you many hours of use.

We can do many finishes to the metal, dark and light patina finishes, custom and standard painted finishes, and polished finishes as well. UL listed parts are used for the rewiring. Turn around time is very reasonable too. We also do custom lighting upon request. You bring the vase or base or the idea, and we will design it to your specifications.

In what once was a wide variety of salvage items, we have turned our focus to antique lighting. With lots of customer service backing us, we are a friend to you and your light. You may come in as a stranger, but you will leave knowing you have gained a friend in the lighting business.
